It has two straps that attach to the back of his harness and it has a lot of space for him to curl up and be comfortable. It secures well to the back seat using the seat belt and straps, and it totally matches the interior of my car. Definitely a good buy.

Awesome car seat. My growing up is 16,5 lbs and loves it. She hangs on the edges in all kind of positions to look out of the window comfortably. It's high enough for a small dog to look out of the window and comes with 2 buckles in case you have two dogs. Highly recommend. It's very sturdy and pretty. I also threw the entire pillow in the washer when she peed on it and it survived both, dryer and washer fine.

I researched every kind of car seat and landed on this one and I’m so happy. I love the thick cushion in the bottom which can be removed if necessary, I love how sturdy it is and I really love how easy it is to setup and secure in the car. Before ever using it in the car, I set it up in the house for her to think of it like an extra bed so she would be used to it when I put it in the car. She’s a Cockapoo, weighs 17 lbs and there is plenty of room for her to sit up or lay down in it.
